Executive Producer
  • 7 DAYS
  • 235 SPEAKERS
  • 25,000 ATTENDEES
  • 1 INSPIRED CITY

Chicago Ideas Week started in 2011 with a simple vision: to put Chicago on the map as a hub of entrepreneurship, innovation, and social enterprise. CIW exists to foster new connections, inspire new ventures, and provide a global platform to turn ideas into action. CIW is a unique ideas conference, because it is open to the public and very affordable, trying to be as accessible and inclusive as possible.

The October 2012 program consisted of 31 Talks across 4 stages, 100 Labs around the city, and the premiere day-long, invitation-only Edison Talks, as well, as evening VIP events, gadget galleries, and youth focused events. The October 2013 program will take another step in growth including more opportunities for deeper exploration of select themes, youth programming and more opportunities to start something new and take action.
